Memphis Zoo Breaks Ground on Mangrove Cove

The Zoo is one of the top amenities we have in the city. It’s been consistently ranked in the Top Five in articles from groups like USA Today and TripAdvisor. Now, it’s getting even better. The Memphis Zoo just broke ground on Mangrove Cove, a new exhibit giving the beloved stingrays a permanent home in Memphis. Read about it here. Memphian Receives 10-minute Standing Ovation at Cannes Film Festival

Memphians go all over the world, showcasing their talents, and that includes in France! Not only are Memphians in attendance, but they’re showing off. Recently, Ira Sachs received an almost 10-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival for his film “The Man I Love.” Having your film selected to Cannes is not an easy feat, but being nominated for the top award and receiving a standing ovation is an incredible accomplishment.
