Aaron May is the Director of Finance (First Vice President) at Duncan Williams Asset Management (DWAM), where he leverages his experience in finance and accounting to deliver results and drive community engagement. A Memphis native, Aaron earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Arkansas. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he exemplifies a commitment to professional excellence. Aaron began his career at a public accounting firm in Western Colorado, specializing in taxation for individuals and businesses. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Aaron is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He also contributes to the business community through his involvement in the Greater Memphis Chamber Young Professionals Council. Deeply rooted in Memphis, Aaron channels his commitment to community by coaching cross-country and track & field at Christian Brothers High School, where he is an alumnus. He applies his financial acumen to the Memphis Youth Athletics Finance and Frank Horton Committees, advancing youth sports in the region. Aaron previously mentored teens as a senior high youth advisor at St. Louis Catholic Church, supporting faith-based programs. Outside of work and volunteering, Aaron enjoys time with family and friends. An outdoorsman, he pursues hunting and maintains discipline in the gym. Adding martial arts to his interests, Aaron practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and appreciates Memphis’s live music scene, reflecting his commitment to growth and well-rounded pursuits.
