Memphian Named the Super Bowl 60 MVP

Memphis has another story taking the national stage. Kenneth Walker III was named the Super Bowl LX MVP. Walker is a Memphis-area native and a graduate of Arlington High School. He was the first running back to be named Super Bowl MVP since Terrell Davis earned the in Super Bowl 32. Read more here and here.

Hyde Foundation Grant Awards over $6.9M Across 24 Local Organizations

The Hyde Family Foundation had its largest funding cycle of 2025. They gave over $6.9M across 24 organizations. They gave to organizations in several different industries including: education, arts & culture, neighborhoods & public spaces, and leadership & civic pride.  Groups like the Hyde Foundation help Memphis grow.
