The Chamber’s Mid-Year Chairman’s Forum was a blast! Thanks for coming out to the Guest House at Graceland last Tuesday.

The whole event was full of good news FOR MEMPHIS, and so many of you shared it! I saw it all over social media.

I had a healthy debate of FOR MEMPHIS vs Why Memphis with my friend, Bill Dunavant. As I said last Tuesday, FOR MEMPHIS is the story of our people and Why Memphis is the case for the city. And we can’t forget the phenomenal Tennessee Mass Choir who gave us a beautiful rendition of Peace in the Valley.

National Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Conference Hosted by Campbell Clinic and Partners in Memphis

Recently, I was honored to speak at the National Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Conference. I had the opportunity to address orthopedic surgeons from the Mid-South region why they should be FOR MEMPHIS. Since 2021, the National Shoulder & Elbow Week initiative has hosted 31 events across the US, which resulted in $740,000 in grants to support more than 50 research projects, which lead to better outcomes for shoulder and elbow injuries and conditions. Memphis-based Frontdoor Inc. Lives Out their Mission through Volunteerism

Through its partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis, Frontdoor Inc. employees volunteered more than 380 hours to build a home in a north Memphis neighborhood, helping someone become a first-time homeowner. The new homeowner received their keys at a dedication ceremony on June 13. Watch this video for a glimpse at the generation impact they’re helping create.
